We start by choosing top quality clear hardwood lumber which we mill and square up, then glue into appropriately sized vertically laminated blocks. Those blocks are then machined perfectly flat on our CNC, flipped over and then milled in 3 dimensions to machine a perfectly matching set of top and bottom molds.

Our Version 1 street deck skateboard mold is set up for 4 decks stacked, with medium/high concave and nose angle at 19.5 degrees, tail angle 19 degrees, .35" depth concave at 8" width, average wheelbase. Mold size is 34" x 10" allowing you to make both narrow and wide decks from the same mold

Our Version 2 street deck skateboard mold is set up for 4 decks stacked, with medium concave and nose angle at 18 degrees, tail angle 18 degrees, .30" depth concave at 8" width, slightly shorter wheelbase than mold #1. Mold size is 34" x 10" allowing you to make both narrow and wide decks from the same mold

These molds are suitable for use in Hydraulic presses or with hand clamps as shown in the pictures below (clamps and press not included)\

During the Covid pandemic build times for molds are approximately 3 weeks for v1 and v2 molds, 4 weeks for custom molds. We are short staffed and quite busy currently, sorry for the inconvenience.

 NOTE!!! - this mold is shown using clamps which will work for using these molds but you MUST use Plywood or other reinforcements on the flat sides of the mold on both the top and bottom to reduce the risk of the mold splitting along the grain or glue lines.

We suggest gluing at least one 3/4" sheet of plywood cut to the dimensions of the mold on the flat side of the top and bottom to reduce this risk. This photo does not show these plywood reinforcments and was only used for the website.

Do not use your mold in this manner or in a press that is not very rigid across the narrower width or your mold may split!! We will not warranty molds that split in this manner.
