Several years ago a customer asked how to generate g-code to cut a snowboard core shape, binding holes and binding insert countersinking in BobCad v21. While this is a very old Cad/CAM package, it is what came with their CNC and viewers may still be interested in the workflow as other CAD packages often have similar features and would have similar workflow.
Demonstrating one way to create core thickness profile data and generate g-code to cut ski or snowboard cores on a CNC router. A customer that uses an old version of BobCAD software asked us to show a workflow to taper cores on their CNC. While it shows the workflow on an old version of BobCAD, even if viewers use a different package It should give them an idea how to do similar steps in their own CAD package.
